a2i systems and Big Brother have been
collaborating on a number of data driven,
customer centric projects in the Benelux
region (see page 13 of this issue for more
details) and Mr. Van Rooijen is keen to share
this with the wider European market: “It is a
very important show for us because we believe
that our technology starts from security
but is moving towards data and knowledge.
We believe that we can support fuel stations
with our technology in a better way and we
feel that the European market is ready to experiment
with this kind of technology.”
Alternative fuels will continue to have a
major impact on the industry as car manufacturers
and Governments work towards
a clean energy future. With this in mind the
trade show will be placing a special focus
on alternative fuels, exploring the development

The event itself promises to be the largest
one to date, with a 20% increase in exhibition
space. “We´ve grown from 25,000m2
of exhibition space in 2014, 35,000 m2 in
2016 and in 2018 exhibitors from around the

CEO of com-a-tec and the co-organiser
of UNITI expo.
The exhibition incorporates all areas of
interest for operators of service stations
and car wash businesses, including: fuel
technology, fuel logistics, site construction,
payment and automation, car wash and car
care, and convenience retailing. “There is a
high level of decision makers from all major
fuel retailers, oil companies and car wash
operators, while several delegations from
across the globe are expected to attend,”
explained Mr. Boroewitsch.
The exhibition and the conferences can
be attended for free. Registration for industry
professionals is now open on the UNITI
